CHAMPIONS

Our mission is to train and teach amateur students to compete at a national and international level and impact their community through life skills, positive influence, and service.

Objectives: Train students to compete at a national and international level. In addition, we will educate athletes and students alike in order to develop essential life skills while laying the foundation of our focus on 6 principles of great character.

The 3C’s of Round Up Inc. focus on building Character, positively influencing the Community, and creating academic and life Champions.

Character is developed and maintained with the consistent application of 6 basic principles:

  • Discipline

  • Trust

  • Respect

  • Hard Work

  • Integrity

  • Accountability

Each student will be challenged to uphold these 6 principles at home, in the classroom, and in the community.

The Community impact project will aim to develop a sense of ownership and responsibility to positively influence our communities through service. Every student will work directly with an organization through Round Up Inc. and will be responsible for completing a certain number of community service hours every year.

The students in our program will be Champions - not only in sports, but also in the classroom and in life. Through partnerships with local business and organizations, life skills courses will be taught once a week in a 6-week format. The courses that will be taught are Interpersonal Communication, Job Preparation, College Preparation, Financial Literacy and Understanding, Technology Building Blocks.

Through a collective effort of Round Up Inc. staff and volunteers, our students will have access to tutoring for all core classes (English, math, science, and history). Each student GPA requirement will be reviewed throughout the school year according to their schools’ grade reporting policies.
